If it was Rohit Shetty, he would have never wanted the year 2013 to end, as the director was on a roll in 2013 with ‘Chennai Express’ going on to become the biggest blockbuster of his career. The director will begin 2014 on a high too. He’s flying off to Argentina in February to host the fifth season of the reality TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. Among-st all this, it look like Singham 2 which was supposed to kick start its shooting in February has taken a back seat. The shooting will now begin in April in Mumbai. This has been mutually decided by Ajay Devgn and Rohit.
However, the reason for the delay is not Shetty’s little innings on the small screen. According to a source Ajay has been busy with Prabhu Dheva’s ‘Action Jackson’. “Earlier he had planned to wrap up the film by the end of this year and move on to ‘Singham 2’ by January-February, but that’s unlikely to happen since portions of Prabhu’s film still need to be shot because the director took a break earlier in the year to promote his last film, ‘R…Rajkumar’,” explains the source.
When Rohit was offered the tele show, he consulted Ajay who suggested he host KKK in Argentina in February-March while he completed his earlier commitment.
