Paresh Rawal, one of the finest actors in Bollywood, is now all set to play Amitabh Bachchan’s son in the upcoming film 102 Not Out. Directed by Umesh Shukla, 102 Not Out featured Amitabh Bachchan in a 102 year old man’s role and his son’s role will be played by Paresh Rawal.
“Soumya, the brother of Abhijat Joshi who has scripted 3 Idiots and P.K., is developing the script which we hope to lock in a week’s time,” says the director who will be co-producing the film under his Benchmark Pictures along with T-Series.
“The film doesn’t have a heroine but I’m looking forward to working with Amitji whom I had in mind even when we were working on the play. Fifteen minutes into the narration he gave the nod,” says the filmmaker, whose directorial debut was the film OMG: Oh My God!.
Paresh Rawal had played Amitabh Bachchan’s father-in-law (Cheeni Kum) and later his grandfather (Paa); how will he perform as Big B’s son?
