For Sonakshi Sinha, 2013 was a mixed year. Out of four of her films that were released, Lootera did not do well at the box office but managed to get as many as 4 stars and her recently released R…Rajkumar was given just 1 star but did extremely well at the box office. But the actress says that she has no complaints when it comes to 2013 and thinks that it has been a great year.
This is what Sonakshi Sinha was found saying in a recent interview about her successes and failures., “Well, isn’t that the story of my life, Most of my films that have done really well are the ones that have been panned by critics (SON OF SARDAAR, ROWDY RATHORE). On the other hand it is just the opposite for the ones which have been critically acclaimed. No wonder, I would rather want box office numbers and not stars. I have always been unapologetic about my bent towards commercial films and that stays till date.”
And she goes on to add, “Overall it has been a good year. It started with LOOTERA where my performance was appreciated. Then I managed to work with directors like Vikramaditya Motwane, Milan Luthria. Tigmanshu Dhulia and Prabhu Dheva with whom I wanted to work with. My songs in BOSS [‘Party All Night’, ‘Har Kisi Ko’] did well. And now 2013 is ending with a successful film like R… RAJKUMAR. All said and done, I really liked the film and it is one of my favourite. So no, I have absolutely no complaints about how 2013 went.”
