Kareena Kapoor wants to do unconventional cinema

Kareena Kapoor has so far in her film career done extremely well as a commercial heroine in all the regular romantic comedies and the typical bollywood commercial movies. And now as we look at her signing up more films with directors like Dev Benegal and Rohit Shetty we can clearly see that she has moved into a phase of her film career where she gets to do a lot of unconventional films.

In a recent interview with the media, this is precisely what the actress said, saying that she would like to balance out her film career by being a part of more unconventional movies now that she’s done enough commercial films. Kareena Kapoor’s even listed out the names of all the directors that she would like to work with.

“As a commercial actress, I’ve done it all. Now I’d like to balance out the more massy stuff with something more unconventional. I would like to work with Aanand Rai, Sudhir Mishra, Dibakar Banerjee and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and I’m working towards it” was what Kareena said talking about it.
