The Son of Sardaar director Ashwini Dheer is now working on his next film, which is a political satire. Reportedly, the movie was supposed to star the Son of Sardaar star and Dheer’s good friend Ajay Devgn but a little birdie now tells us that the two have had a rift between themselves and have decided not to work together.
Ajay Devgn has been replaced by Abhay Deol in the film, where he will be seen opposite Shruti Haasan.
Abhay Deol, who is now looking forward for his first production One By Two, will be seen in the movie along with his girlfriend Preeti Desai.
Talking about the movie, he says “It’s not a Shanghai or Chakravyuh, but maybe it’s in the same space of a Socha Na Tha and a Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It’s about real people.”
Now that he and his girlfriend are being seen on screen for the first time, he was asked about his marriage plans. Commenting on marriage, the Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd actor said “I’ve always said that signing a piece of paper is no guarantee for love and loyalty in a relationship. If I were pressurised to tie the knot, I would probably run or cheat to get away. I’ve found a person I feel happy and secure with. It’s as simple as that.”
