Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express set massive records at the box office and became a tremendous hit. Aamir Khan is all set to end the year with a Dhoom, with his film Dhoom 3, touted as the most awaited film of 2013. Now with this as the backdrop, it is natural for Hindi movie lovers to end up comparing Salman Khan’s upcoming film Jai Ho to these two movies.
Commenting on it, Sallu Bhai said “Today it is about Rs 200 crore, 300 crore or 400 crore but I don’t see it that way. There is no ego that if Shah Rukh and Aamir’s film has done ‘x’ business, then my film should also do so and cross it (the record mark).”
“I wish and hope everybody’s film should do well so that the business is more, industry grows, etc,” he added.
“Since the time I have started wearing Aamir’s hat, I am getting those kind of genius marketing ideas for film. I hope Jai Ho creates Dhoom,” he laughed and told the reporters when asked about sporting Aamir’s hat look.
He subtly bashed other films like Ram Leela and R… Rajkumar when he was asked if there is any pressure from those films, which did very well at the box office. He said “If these are good films then I don’t want Jai Ho to be in good film category.”
