The ace actor Aamir Khan leaves no stone unturned while preparing for his roles; he makes sure he gets the right physique, he researches about the role and what not. For his upcoming film Dhoom 3, he went a step further and learnt tap dancing. The modest person that he is, he feels Hrithik Roshan or Govinda or Shahid Kapoor are better at it.
“I took training for a month for tap dancing. It’s a modern style of tap dancing. I am not a dancer but I feel Hrithik, Govinda or Shahid would have done a better job than me. I still haven’t got it as I didn’t have the luxury to practise for a longer period,” Aamir told reporters during a press conference of Dhoom 3.
The film that releases next week, has been extensively promoted; the makers went to the extent of releasing merchandise based on the film but Aamir says the Dhoom 3 team believes in ‘less is more’.
“Marketing is something which is taken care by the producer and the director. We believe in ‘less is more’. We respect the intelligence of the audience. We don’t want to go out and scream about it. Audience are very intelligent,” Aamir said, and added that he regrets Yash Chopra not being alive to watch the movie.
The movie starring Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, releases on December 20th.
