Shahrukh Khan: Aamir Khan is othe finest actor the country has!

Bollywood’s King, Shahrukh Khan feels that Aamir Khan is one of the finest actors and an inspiration to many for the kind of effort he has put in Dhoom 3. “He is the finest actor the country has. For his role (in Dhoom 3) he required that kind of body. He does some trapeze work in the film… for him to work out that way (to have a perfect body) it is fantastic and inspiring,” Shahrukh said at an event last evening.

“Aamir leads the way and is always an inspiration like this not only physically and mentally but with the kind of job and work he does. I really appreciate it,” he further added.

In Doom 3, Aamir Khan will be seen portraying the role of a baddie. Just like Aamir, SRK too is eager and ready to play a negative role again on the big screen. Shahrukh was earlier seen playing a negative role in the beginning of his career in films like Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam. “It is long time I haven’t played such a role, I will like to do it. If I am offered (anti-hero role) I will do it though it may not be commercially very befitting… it may not get into club of Rs 100 crore or Rs 200 crore. Like I do ‘Don’ series, but it is stylised and is hardly negative,” Shahrukh added.

So, When asked about turning anti-hero again, Shahrukh said: “Yes, I am all for it, I would like to do it. Though I have been told many a time not to do it because children like me. But it’s a role and yes, I would like to do it.”

Shahrukh further added, “It may not be commercially very befitting, it may not enter the clubs. But as an actor, I would like to do it. It’s been a long time,”

In recent times, Shahrukh turned baddie for Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2′, but says those roles don’t really qualify as negative.

“‘Don’ has been stylised and is beautiful, it is hardly like a negative role. I would really like to try a proper negative role,” said SRK, who turned to comedy this year with “Chennai Express” and broke all records with the success of the movie.

Currently he is busy shooting for Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year.’
