We’ve reported how Arjun Kapoor will be working under the production of his father Boney Kapoor for a movie, and this movie has now been titled as ‘Tevar’. Although the Kapoors hav thought of the title Tevar sometime back, they had to wait for Aditya Chopra to give the rights of the title to them as he possessed the rights of it, for a YRF film.
But as soon as the Kapoors let him know of their desire to use the title Aditya Chopra gave away the rights to them, the gentleman that he is.
As source close to them confirms this saying, “Boney Kapoor wanted the title ‘Tevar’, which he realised was with YRF as it was a favourite of Yashji’s. When Arjun told Adi (Aditya) that they were keen to name the film Tevar’, he gave him the title without any further delay.”
Tevar is going to be the remake of the telugu blockbuster film ‘Okkadu’ and Arjun Kapoor will play a regular college going kid in the movie who also is a kabaddi champion. The shooting for this film is going to start off from January.
Along with this, Arjun Kapoor has three more films in his kitty, Two states, Gunday and Finding Fanny Fernandes.
