Case filed against Ram Leela director Sanjay Leela Bhansali!

Just when everyone is celebrating the humungous success of Ram Leela, a case was filed against the director along with 12 other people from the cast and crew of the movie for how ‘Violence and Obscenity has been glorified’ in the Goliyon ka ras leela. The case was lodged in Bhamaura Police station in Bareilly yesterday by a certain Kailash Chandra and was supported by the judicial magistrate R.P.Gupta. The petition for this case was made on the 18th of November.

The 12 people on whom the case was filed include Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Eros International, Kishore Lulla of Eros International, Ranvir Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra among some others. The petitioner, in his petition said that the way in which violence and obscenity were shown in Ram Leela hurt the Hindu religion sentiments. And this was not the first time that people objected to the way the movie was shot, as there were protests to ban the movie by a section of the Hindus even in the past.

Nevertheless, Ram Leela has been doing really well and made it to the 200 crore club right in the second week of the movie’s release…
