After nearly thirty years, Amitabh and Shatrughan Sinha are all set to feature together in the same film. And for those of you hoping to see them acting together once again, it’s for the animated film Mahabharath 3D that the duo will be working together for. Amitabh Bachchan will lend his voice for Bhishma Pithamah while Shatrughan Sinha will be the voice of Krishna. So in a way Amitabh and Shatrughan will be re-uniting on the big screen.
The irony in this is that, Amitabh and Shatrughan who have infamously involved themselves in a lot of cold wars in the past, will be voicing for the characters, Bhishma and Krishna who will fight on the screen in Kurukshetra.
Shatrughan Sinha dubbed for the role of Krishna on Tuesday when he spoke to the media saying, “I was asked to pick any role including that of Bhishma Pitamah, but I chose Krishna because he is the social political and cultural head. He is a wise and learned character.”
“My face may not match the popular image of Krishna but my voice certainly is quite authoritative like him” he adds, on a humorous note.
On Amitabh Bachchan lending his voice for the role of Bhishma, this is what Shatrughan said, “I am glad that Mr Bachchan is playing Bishma Pitamah in the film.”
