Though his Bollywood debut was not a fanfare filled one, Nawazuddin Siddiqui definitely made it to the peaks; joing the ranks of the top actors in Bollywood today. The zest and zeal in him combined with the hard work that he put in, got him to the spot that he occupies today. And now, he has been featured on the cover page of the latest edition of GQ magazine.
GQ rightfully calls him ‘India’s Finest Actor’, to which Nawazuddin is surprisingly modest, saying that he is totally overwhelmed. The actor’s performances in movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Talaash and Kahani got him much acclaim and accolades. So it was natural that he was asked about the choice of films he does, “I choose my films very carefully. I have seen a lot of my seniors (actors), who became big stars after two or three films but their careers came crashing down later because of a few wrong chouices. I don’t want to make the same mistakes.”
He was last seen in the much acclaimed movie The Lunchbox.
