Raaz 4 to be made by Vishal Mahadkar, the Blood Money director

For all those of you who have loved the Raaz series for all their mystery and sensuality, here’s some good news. The fourth part of the series is all set to be made and this time by Vishal Mahadkar. Vishal debuted with Blood Money, the Kunal Khemu starrer which has won critical acclaim and feels privileged that the Bhatts have chosen him for Raaz 4.

Raaz 4 will be an adaptation of the 1976 hollywood horror flick, ‘The Omen’. Vishal says that although the story will be an adaptation, there will be a lot of nativity in the script. “The story will keep Indian sensibilities in mind and also touch upon religious aspects, which play an important role in our system.”

It was Mahesh Bhatt who has been the script writer for all of the Raaz movies but for Raaz 4, it will be Vishal Bhatt who will be penning the script. The director Vishal Mahadkar is currently on the hunt for the perfect cast for the movie and will officially begin casting by the month of December.

“I am currently looking for a boy to play the evil incarnate Damien, a role originally essayed by Harvey Stephens.” Vishal says, speaking about it.
