In Bollywood, the one thing that has caught everyones’ attention are remakes becoming the call of the day, then on the other hand there are projects which get filtered out due to various reasons. Call it destiny, but the remake of Shaukeen (that’s to be produced by Akshay Kumar) did not suffer any such fate, despite the walking out of Rumi Jaffrey, who was going to direct the movie.
The latest buzz is that Abhishek Sharma (the man who made Tere Bin Laden) has stepped into the director’s shoes for the movie. When asked about the film, Rumi told us that there are no harsh-feelings between him and Akshay Kumar. When asked why did Rumi walk out of the film, he said that the film was supposed to start back in 2013, but got delayed and that he has another commitment in 2014
