Did you know that Ranbir Kapoor has this strange yet sweet possessiveness for his family? The actor who has recently shared the screen with his mother Neetu Kapoor and father Rishi Kapoor in the film Besharam revealed in an interview that he did not want the world to see his mother on screen as he thought that she belonged only to him.
Here is what he said on it, “Frankly, I don’t like the fact that the world is getting to see my mother (Neetu Kapoor) on screen. She’s mine. She’s soft-spoken in real life but in the film, she played a cunning, over-the-top cop Bulbul Pandey.” Honey, far before she was your mom, she was a popular actress and thousands of people have probably seen her on screen, loved her, worshipped her and cherished her.
Ranbir also spoke about how his dad Rishi Kapoor is always very critical of his work and how he has inherited the quality from his dad Raj Kapoor and grand dad Prithviraj Kapoor. Here is what he said, “My dad (Rishi Kapoor) has always been critical about my work. His father (Raj Kapoor) and grandfather (Prithviraj Kapoor) were similar in their attitude towards him.”
