Arbaaz Khan, who turned into a producer with the movie Dabangg was successful in his first venture. He went ahead and produced and directed the sequel to that movie Dabangg 2. And now, he is producing his third film which is said to be a women centric film. Salman Khan, who starred in the Dabangg series will not star in this movie.
“Yes, Arbaaz has locked a script two days ago and will now start casting. He needs an established heroine and a relatively less popular hero. The film will not feature Salman. He wouldn’t even have a cameo this time,” says a source.
Dabangg 3 is also in the pipeline but our Sallu Bhai is busy with other movies now. Right now, he is busy with Jai Ho and later he will work on Kick; both of which are remakes of Telugu films.
Talking about South Indian films, Genelia D’Souza, who is a popular actress in South India; will now act in a prominent role in Jai Ho. Genelia was spotted on the sets of the movie in a wheelchair. “It’s a challenging role and Genelia surprised everyone by canning her shots in one or two takes,” was what a source from the unit said.
