Vishakha Singh, the girl who made her debut with the movie Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se, later appeared in a series of critically acclaimed movies like Fukrey, Ankur Arora Murder Case, Bajatey Raho and a Tamil film Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya.
Since then, she has been getting a lot of offers; so many that she is ending up rejecting most of them. Among the ones she signed, each is in a different language. The Maya Tape (Hindi), Thurram (Telugu), The Motorcycle Diaries (Malayalam) and Valeeba Raj (Tamil) are the movies she signed so far.
“Yes, I am doing a lot of regional films. I realise that one should be constantly working. Moreover, South industry pays you much more as well so it is a good reason to be doing films there too,” confirms Vishakha.
Interestingly, the Punjabi actress has never acted in a Punjabi film so far.
“It’s a task to manage three different language films in the South and that too when the shoots are happening around the same time. However I am enjoying it all. After Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se, it was a long wait. Now when things are falling in place, I am enjoying the fact that my hard-work is paying off,” concludes the actress who recently won an award for her smile.
