Gori Teri Pyaar Mein: Preview and Prediction

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein looks really interesting from what we can see. It’s not a regular girl meets boy and falls in love and get married type of film. Imran and Kareena have been cast opposite together once before and their pair was a hit in a very unconventional manner. In “Ek Main Aur Ek Tu” Imran was the responsible, serious guy and Kareena was the bindas chokri, who got drunk and was having fun. Well in this film its a role reversal. Kareena looks more mature while Imran is still basking in his jawan days. The film looks like a total entertainer with a nice social message. We have for you, Gori Teri Pyaar Mein: Preview and Prediction.

Kareena plays the role of a social activist who spends all her life in helping the rural and under privileged people while Imran is young guy who wants to have “fun” in life. Kareena’s look in the film is very Indian while Imran Khan looks typical NRI material. There is a twist in the film with Shraddha Kapoor playing a significant role, Imran’s fiance to be precise. It’ll very interesting to watch Imran Khan play the role of a South Indian for the first time and Kareena is in her typical north Indian chokri avatar. Esha Gupta has an item number in this song which is very peppy and fun. Of what we can see, we think the story of the film is that Imran falls in love with Kareena but moves on as both of them have different priorities, then he comes back to win her heart again. In the mean while he gets engaged to Shraddha Kapoor. Whether he is successful in winning Bebos’ heart or not we can tell only after we watch the film. The film has the right dose of Indian masala and Western and modern set up. The only glitch is that this film has been overshadowed by the maddening frenzy surrounding Ram Leela. It releases a week after Ram Leela but hasn’t managed to create the kind of excitement that Ram Leela has generated. The songs aren’t very great except the item number by Esha Gupta. We think this film will receive lukewarm response at the box-office, What do you think?
