Hrithik Roshan has played different characters. His most notable characters are from movies like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Guzaarish, Koi.. Mil Gaya, Krrish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and so on. Every role that he has portrayed he’s put his heart and soul in it and when it comes to Krrish, we can be pretty sure that he will go out of his way to make the movie a hit.
In an recent interview with a popular tabloid, Hrithik Roshan spoke his heart out as to what the Krrish series means to him and is it the biggest movie ever? (given the fact that so much of man power and moolah has been put in making one single film). He says,“Every film I work on is my biggest release. I had to find the superhero inside me to do the part and I worked hard for it. Doctors had told me that I won’t be able to do the film and even my dad told me that we will do this after three years. He told me to rest for 6-7 months. But I knew if I don’t do this movie now, I won’t be able to do it. So I searched inside me and found the Krrish and that helped me a lot. When I was resting I was very upset as my tummy had came out and my knees used to hurt. So I started working out and got back in shape”
Wow this looks like a counselling session to me where he’s trying to convince himself that it was the right choice. Whatever demons he’s battling, we wish and hope they all go away. Soon. But then again, all is well that ends well and in a way Krrish 3 ended well, since it got a huge opening response. I guess it’s safe to say that he did make the right choice. Thankfully, the movie didn’t fail miserably.
A very interesting question was asked to Hrithik. How did he cope? It took them 10 long years to make three movies or rather complete a trilogy. Was it tiring? Was it hectic? What was it? “Spider-Man and Superman have been made 3-4 time previously but Krrish has completed a decade. If you think that you are going to rest the whole day and won’t face any problems then you will never attain success. You would get bored. If you want to lead a happy life then you should be ready to face pain. You should have courage to face it. You can’t control anyone, the situations but you can control your attitude. Well, that’s the spirit I guess! Maybe these actors are so successful because of their actual and real hard work and not because of the family they were born into. Agreed that he got a free ticket to enter Bollywood but he did an exceptional job to sustain his position. Getting the free ticket is one thing, but holding on to it for so long is entirely an other!
