Eros International has now bought the distribution rights of Salman Khan’s Jai Ho. The rumour is that the deal was signed for about Rs 110 crores.
Disney UTV, Fox Star Studio were the other two players in the race but Eros has given the winning bid and has bagged the distribution rights for both India and Overseas. Sohail Khan has been talking about selling the distribution rights since two months and it was quite inevitable that it went to Eros as it shares a good bond with Salman Khan. The production house earlier distributed Wanted, Ready, Dabangg, Dabangg 2 and even produced Veer.
Jai Ho is scheduled for a January 2014 release and is directed and produced by Salman Khan’s brother, Sohail Khan. The film also features Sana Khan, Tabu and Daisy Shah.
