Aaradhya Sang ‘Happy Birthday’ for Aishwarya Rai

Just a while ago, we reported as to the manner in which Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s birthday would be celebrated at the Bachchan residence. It has been revealed that Aaradhya Bachchan, Aishwarya’s 2 year old daughter, made the birthday really special for her, by singing ‘Happy Birthday’ for her.

“Aaradhya sleeps very late, so in the midnight she sang Happy Birthday to me. It’s a very special experience. She did the same last month for paa (Amitabh Bachchan) also,” Aishwarya told the reporters at her residence Janak. She added, “She first wished herself and then she wished me.”

When asked about the nature of the gift she got from Abhishek, the 40 year old actress smiled and said, “We will leave it to Abhishek to share it with you. He has given me a gift, but the biggest gift he has given me is Aaradhya. She is my biggest gift.”

“Every year I help cancer patients and this year also I have donated some amount. Every year I do something like this. It is something my parents have taught me – to do something meaningful as it makes a difference to those people. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned 40 today and celebrated the occasion by donating cash for cancer patients. I believe in doing service for the society,” said the actress.

Talking about her journey so far, she said “I never thought I will be here. Everyone in my family is an academician… So I also followed that part. But destiny had something else in store for me. I am happy God chose this route for me.”

“I have had a fruitful journey. I am happy to be a part of the family (Bachchan family) who are into this industry for years,” Mrs. Rai Bachchan added.

She concluded the interview by thanking everyone and said “Heartfelt thank you to everyone for the wishes. It’s a good coincidence that my birthday comes with Diwali… It’s a celebration time. I am thankful to God for this life…Thankful to my parents for this gift of life. It means a lot to me. I embrace everything that life gives me.”
