A few days ago, we wrote how several actresses like Madhuri Dixit, Kangana Ranaut, etc have back-to-back movies lined up in the near future. The actresses each have two or more movies releasing with a gap of a week or two at the most. The latest actor to enter this conundrum is Arshad Warsi. He has two releases Joe B. Carvalho and Dedh Ishqiya, which are releasing in consecutive weeks in 2014.
“Even as the makers of Gulaab Gang and Dedh Ishqiya are yet to conclude on whether one of them would move the film ahead or the clash would be on, the situation has turned further complex. Arshad Warsi, who is one of the male leads of Dedh Ishqiya (other than Naseeruddin Shah) is bringing his Joe B. Carvalho (supposed to sound as ‘Jo Bhi Karva Lo’) a week before,” says a source, “The film, which marks the directorial debut of Sameer Tiwari, is all set to arrive on 3rd January.”
Interestingly, Gulaab Gang and Dedh Ishqiya are movies with Madhuri Dixit in them.
What a wonderful quagmire Bollywood is…
