Wondering why Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma flew off to Japan? It is for the shoot of their film Youngistaan, which is being filmed in Japan. The romantic youth entertainer is helmed by Syed Ahmad Afzal; it marks the debut of the director.
“Bhagnanis wanted to wait for a while before announcing a new film. Though Priyadarshan’s Rangrezz featuring Jackky released earlier this year, it was a film that Jackky had signed alongside Ajab Gazabb Love. After the release of these two films, father-producer Vashu Bhagnani kick-started Humshakals (Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Bipasha Basu) with Sajid Khan in the interim period,” informs a source.
The source adds, “Just like F.A.L.T.U., music would play a major part in the narrative of Youngistaan. Also, though each of the four films that Jackky has done so far featured a newbie heroine, Youngistaan would have Neha Sharma in lead. Her stunning looks, glamour quotient and confidence in front of the camera (Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Jayahtabhai Ki Luv Story, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2) went in her favour.”
