For years, Bandraites gloated with pride while the townies turned green with envy when Salt Water Café opened its doors in the Queen of the Suburbs. South Mumbai’s biggest grievance of endless travel time haunted residents who craved for the café’s European appeal. So after enticing patrons for five years with its luscious menu that leaves them coming back for more, it has found another home at Churchgate with a brand new outlet.
The dinner at Salt Water Cafe was attended by Ashad Syed, Neha Dhupia, Rashmi Uday Singh, Pia Trivedi, Ritwick Bhattacharya, Shazahn Padamsee, Rajeev Samant, Malavika Sangghvi, Kanchal Kaur, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Jamal Mecklai, Pravina Mecklai, Rahul da Cunha, Krsna Mehta, Kishore DF, Acquin Pais, Sonali Nagrani and Tariq Ansari who joined in to celebrate this joyous occasion.
Riyaaz Amlani, CEO & MD, Impresario, for whom Salt Water Cafe is a labor of love says, “Salt Water Cafe has become a part of the Bandra community and embodies its fun, eclectic and diverse spirit perfectly. The brand is synonymous with all these qualities and we feel that it was the right time to take a slice of that energy and bring it to another part of Mumbai. ”
