Bullett Raja Actors Speak

A month ahead of its release, the lead actors of the movie Bullett Raja Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha talk about their experiences.

Saif Ali Khan says the toughest part of the shoot was to getting the Lucknowi accent right. “The accent was challenging but the director Tigmanshu Dhulia, was of great help. He taught me everything right from the diction to the intonation,” says Saif who plays a role of a gangster in the movie.

The chota Nawab is now shooting for a comedy film Humshakals with Sajid Khan. Saif, who plays a triple role in the Sajis Khan’s film; shot for a scene at MI6 building in the United Kingdom. Now MI6 is the headquarters of the British Intelligence and Saif, who is an outspoken fan of James Bond, was very excited at the opportunity to shoot at MI6. Saif plays a triple role in the film.

Sonakshi Sinha, who shot for a portion of the film Bullet Raja in Kolkata, rode a tram there and fell in love with the experience. he says, “This tram was like 100 years, almost like a time machine. It had a very romantic feel to it and made you just want to stop and look around. It was a very ‘dreamy’ tram indeed, but unfortunately I’d no one to share it with.”

Meanwhile, Jimmy Shergill, who co-stars with Saif Ali Khan says he is not upset with Saif being the center of attention in the film as he says “It is Saif’s film… there is no big deal about it. He is a superstar, it is a fact, one has to face it and move on. I don’t think and worry about these things. I just try and do best

“Tishu ( Tigmanshu) felt I was the perfect choice for this role. I know the fact that he will cast me in his films if he would feel I can only play that part. This film is a complete masala entertainer in comparison to the films I did with him,” Jimmy added.

Bullet Raja, which is helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, is about the mafia based in Uttar Pradesh. It features Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Grover, Raj Babbar and Chunky Pandey. Presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Moving Pictures and BrandSmith Motion Pictures, the movie releases November 29.
