Sunny Deol’s birthday was yesterday and the makers of Singh Saab The Great released a special patriotic track Bali Hamesha Bakri Ki Di Jaati Hai Sher Ki Nahin and also Sunny’s dialogue, “Saade wich thoda Gandhi bhi, (Sardar) Patel bhi, Bhagat Singh bhi.”
Sonu Nigam has composed music for the track and ex-Miss India Urvashi Rautela has been introduced through the song. The movie features Amrita Rao, Prakash Raj, Anjali Abrol and the plot is about a man’s fight against corruption.
Telling us about the song’s relevance in the film, Sunny says, “The song portrays reality and the happenings around us. Though the song just gives a peek into the story, it shows the importance of family values and relationships between the wife and her husband, brother and sister and the values that one needs to imbibe as an individual.”
The actor adds, “Corruption has spread like cancer and we need to do chemotherapy. The sad part is that we blame others and never take the onus, but the change has to begin with ourselves. If we voice something, we have to stick to it no matter what.”
The song also has Sunny dish out some high-octane action. “The action that I have done has always been larger than life, but realistic. I am fighting for a cause, there is strong emotion behind it, thus even a mere punch makes an impact. It gives vent to suppressed frustration.” Director Anil Sharma says, “The song is our birthday gift to Sunny and it carries the gist of what our film is all about.”
