Pakistani singer Adnan Sami who was in news recently for his ‘overstaying’ says India is like a home to him.
Born in Britain, the singer was issued notice by the Mumbai police on October 15th, demanding an explanation for his over-stay. Later the singer revelaed he’d been granted a 3-year extension from October 6th.
“I have been living here (in India) for the last 14 years. It has been my work place since then. I have not spent (as much) time anywhere else as much as I have spent here in India,” Adnan said in an interview.
“So I am attached with this country. It is like a home to me,” he added.
