Shahrukh Khan tweets about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and ignores Salman Khan

The iconic movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which was a saga of friendship and love, released on this date 15 years ago. The movie was Karan Johar’s first directoral venture and it was a massive success. The movie had the well known pair of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol and it also introduced a new on-screen pair, Shahrukh Khan and Rani Mukerjee.

The movie set off a lot of trends including friendship bands, cool looks, etc. It was also the first screen appearance of Sana Saeed, the 8 year old girl who plays Shahrukh Khan’s daughter in the film; she was recently seen in Student Of The Year.

The director Karan Johar posted on his micro-blogging site about the movie “15 years since #KuchKuchHotaHai..the day it all began for me..I can’t thank the universe enough for blessing me with a place in the movies.” Shahrukh also posted, thanking everyone @KKHH 15yrs of lov & friendship. Thanx Kajol,Rani,Karan & Tom Uncle for believing in ur son. Also Eid Mubarak…Prayers & Happiness for all.”

What was conspicuous was that he missed out Salman Khan in the list of the people he thanked. Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan were on screen in the movie and one can only wonder if Shahrukh forgot to add his name in the tweet or if he intentionally did that. This might suggest that there still is a cold war between SRK and Sallu Bhai.
