Akshay Kumar in the true Desi Hero avatar

Akshay Kumar, who has done a lot of comedies in the recent years, is back to doing action flicks with a bang, with the movie amoxicillin for cats for sale Boss, that releases today. Directed by Anthony D’Souza and starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Mithun Da and Danny Denzongpa; the Khiladi starrer will suck the audiences in with the story and blow them away with his kicks. Akshay says, “The story will suck you in and my kicks will blow you away.”

He says it is a must watch and is a family entertainer (one of the reasons it is being released on a holiday) as it deals with a father-son bond. “My character is full of colour, masala, zest, but, most importantly, full of heart. I hope viewers enjoy my Haryanvi character, it’s a first for me,” says Akshay Kumar.

The action scenes in the movie are mind blowing as no ropes or cables have been used anywhere and reportedly, the movie has the longest parkour sequence ever in Indian Cinema. The icing on the cake is the fact that Akshay Kumar will be seen in a typical desi avatar. “While we have a whole lot of urban slick heroes, there is always room for the desi hero. In a way, this film is revisiting the roots, by making cinema that our industry is so known for,” says Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom18 Motion Pictures. “The film is a complete mass entertainer,” he adds.

One interersting thing is that the movie releases today, 16th October, exactly 4 years after the release of his movie Blue. Now it is common knowledge that Bollywood film-makers are big numerology and astrology freaks.

Blue was a disaster and that film was released on 16th October, directed by Anthony D’Souza, the name started with “B” and starred Akshay Kumar. Will Boss face the numerology issues? Or will it rise above them in triumph? We’ll have to wait and see…
