Best movies of the Shahenshah, Amitabh Bachchan

Over a span of 4 decades Amitabh Bachchan appeared in over 190 movies. He played the doting son, the thief, the orphan, the singer, the millionaire, the angry young man and everything that was offered to him. Over the years Amitabh Bachchan kept improvising his skills and took up various other things. He gave us hits, he gave us flops, and he gave us blockbusters. But there are few movies which will forever remain in our hearts.

What can I say about this movie? Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai? Or that Don ko junglee billian pasand hai? To be very honest I loved the first 20 minutes of the movie where he was all serious and mean.

Zanjeer was the movie where Amitabh Bachchan went from being just another face in Bollywood to the angry yung man of Bollywood. his effortless acting impressed us and his subtle romantic side won our hearts.

He knows what a lawaris goes through and knows how the so called society treats a lawaris. His chemistry with Zeenat Aman was undeniable and his quest to find his biological parents was fascianating.

Jai aur Veeru ki dosti is something which we will never forget. Yes, we did read a lot of books where the best friend dies to protect his friend but Amitabh’s death in Sholay gave a whole new meaning and dimension to the sacrifices made by friends.

Vijay Varma. What can we say about this character? Amibath Bachchan gave his heart and soul to this movie and his hard work paid off. The dialogues from this movie are still popular and kids still joke around and mimic mere pass maa hai

Last but not the least his performance in Sarkar left us wanting for more. He played the role of the Indian version of Marlon Brando and did justice to the role. His role in Sarkar Raj was even better and the part part was him avenging the death of his son.
