The shooting of Main Tera Hero, headlining Varun Dhawan, came to a sudden halt when director David Dhawan collapsed on the film sets. The movie is currently being shot in Bangkok.
A friend of David added, “David has been feeling very weak since Monday. He took a break from directing the movie.”
The filmmaker is said to have suffered a heat stroke and is currently stable and recovering fast. Apparently, David’s elder son Rohit will not take charge of the camera till his daddy gets well. The Bangkok shedule is said to end on October 16. Rohit will return only once the film wraps up it’s Bangkok schedule.
David confirmed the news saying, “It was a heat stroke. These things happen. I am a lot better now though I have been advised rest.”
Well, this is not the first time the 53-year old director fainted. Earlier too, David collapsed at producer Bunty Walia’s wedding reception in December last year.
