The Ram Leela actor Ranveer Singh was admitted in a hospital in Mumbai on Thursday last week. He was diagnosed with severe dengue while shooting for the Yash Raj film Gunday and he was subsequently admitted in a hospital. His condition initially worsened and he was shifted to the ICU; where he was visited by his rumored girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
After her visit, his condition started improving and he tweeted on Wednesday thanking all his fans for their support. Yesterday, he was discharged from the hospital and talking to the reporters, he said; “When the doctors first told me that I had dengue, all I could say was: ‘F***, why me?’ I don’t like hospitals and I don’t like needles. They are my least favourite part of the treatment process. “As many pricks as one has to deal with, one never really gets used to them.”
Deepika Padukone was with him as he was coming out of the Hinduja Surgical Healthcare yesterday; when she saw the photographers outside the hospital, she vanished from the scene. Ranveer Singh looked cheerful as he was heading home.
Ranveer Singh has been advised to stay out of action for 15-20 days atleast; as he needs to be in complete rest.
