Bollywood movies which had two generations

Bollywood has some in-house young starlets who are the by product of the golden superstars. Yes, they get a free pass into Bollywood and didn’t even have to struggle for a day but they are also inherently talented. Lets not be too harsh on them because they have their own demons to fight and pre-set standards to surpass. So instead of calling them names, we can look at movies where these star kids shared screen with their family members and how well they acted.

Mera naam joker

A superhit blockbuster given to us by R.K productions! Raj Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor don’t exactly share screen space in the movie. Rishi Kapoor plays the role of young Raju (Raj Kapoor’s name in Mera Naam Joker) and boy! his acting skills were perfect. Nobody could have had perfected the role of young Raju better than Rshi Kapoor himself

Bunty aur babli

Released in 2005, this movie had the perfect real-life family. The father, the son and the hone wali bahu, well things didn’t go well between the prospective bahu and the mother but let’s save that story for another day. Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan for the first time, shared screen space in Bunty and Babli and no it wasn’t a cameo done by Amitabh Bachchan to rescue his son’s career but an actual full fledged role and they did well too!

munna bhai

This has to be the best real-family movie ever! Yes, we all loved Sunil Dutt in his time and same goes for Sanju baba but who knew that they would be so awesome together! They shared the reel father-son relationship and it was quite ironic how Sanjay Dutt lets Sunil Dutt down by the choice of his profession.

yamla pagla deewana

Yamla Pagla Deewana and Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 blew our minds with the hilarious fun-chemistry between the Deols and daddy dearest! Who knew Sunny Deol could make us laugh? Wasn’t he more of an action hero? Nevertheless, we enjoyed the movie a lot and loved the characters played by the Deols and Dharmendra.

Ah. Another real-family stars come together and star in a movie and try to be the imperfect reel-family. How ironic is that? We strive to be perfect and they flaunt their imperfections.
