And finally, after much hype, the first promo of The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon ki Mallika is out, featuring Mallika Sherawat in a saree clad avatar.

Prior to this sexy babe, we have seen wannabees like Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan and Ratan Rajput, find their soulmate on a reality show. And this time, it’s Mallika’s turn.

The Bachelorette India, the desi version of American show The Bachelor, is a reality show where Mallika will be seen selecting her perfect companion from 30 male contestants. Rohit Roy, who is hosting the dating show said, “It’s not a reality show but a real process of someone’s life.”

On being introduced by Ronit, the Hiss babe makes a dramatic and explosive entry on a vespa.

The show sees quite a few good looking male participant, however there is one who leaves Mallika shocked. This participant is pretty old, sports white hair and will remind you of Steve Martin, a Hollywood superstar.

On seeing the man, Sherawats expressions turns funny and leave us confused with the fact whether she is actually astonished or happy.

Apparently, the Bachelorette India was initially offered to Veena Malik.

She said in an interview, “The Bachelorette was first offered to me. After I refused, it went to Mallika Sherawat. I was also supposed to do Swayamvar on TV, but then it didn’t happen. When Bachelorette came to me, I was shooting four films back-to-back, and I couldn’t have let the producers’ money go waste while I was busy honeymooning. No matter, main kitne bhi ishq-mohabbat karoon, I will make sure that I marry the best man. But I don’t think this is the right time to look for Mr. Right. I would like to concentrate on my career for a few years.”

Meanwhile, watch the promo and do tell us if the Hiss babe’s television stint will go down the same path as her Bollywood career has.
