The movie had Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea and Ashutosh Rana in the lead. The couple Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea travel to Ooty in an attempt to get close to save their failing marriage. But they later realize that their new home is haunted by a deadly ghost. Many spooky scenes here until Sanjana gets to know about her husband’s involvement in this scary conspiracy.
To start with, the movie was ranked 92nd in the Top 100 sexiest movie scenes. The movie starred Bipasha Basu and John Abraham. Bipasha Basu portrays the role of an insatiable, greedy wife of a millionaire (Gulshan Grover) and meets John Abraham who is an unhappy, poor lawyer. The movie has a lot of twists and ends with both the actors dying. This erotic thriller was the stairway to fame for John Abraham who made his debut with this movie. The movie eventually got him the Best Debut award as well.
Another erotic thriller which featured the sexy Mallika Sherawat, Emran Hashmi and Ashmit Patel. It has two sequels today namely, Murder 2 and Murder 3. The story revolves around a wife played by Mallika and her workoholic husband Ashmit Patel. Mallika is not content with the attention she receives from her ever busy husband and accidentally meets her friend, Emraan Hashmi with whom she indulges in a very steamy affair and forgets her other commitments as a wife and a mother. Murder released on 2 April 2004 and, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, managed to become a highly successful venture at the box office, earning the super hit status.
Gangster was a crime and romantic thriller which released on 28th April 2006. The movie starred Shiney Ahuja, Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The plot is that of a bar girl who falls in love with two people, one a layman and the other a gangster. The movie is a blend of undying love and unending betrayals. The movie brought a Best Debut award for Shiney Ahuja and 7 awards for Kangana Ranaut.
Woh Lamhe featured Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja in the lead roles. The film is supposedly based on Parveen Babi’s life, her battle with schizophrenia and her relationship with Mahesh Bhatt to whom she was a lover as well as a mentor in his struggling days.
Bhatt said that it is his tribute to the actress and time he spent with her, hence the name Woh Lamhe (“Those Moments”). Parveen Babi’s character is played by Kangna Ranaut who is named Sana Azim in the film to avoid direct reference to the actress. Woh Lamhe was critically acclaimed for its screenplay, direction, and a noteworthy performance by Kangna.
