For actor Hrithik Roshan, the animation film “Kid Krrish” based on his feature film franchise “Krrish” is already a success because his two sons, Hrehaan, 7 and Hridhaan, 5, have loved it.
“I have two kids, 7 and 5. I just want to start off by saying that they have seen the first movie of ‘Kid Krrish’ and they have fallen in love with it,” the 39-year-old said here Tuesday at the announcement of the “Kid Krrish” series.
“So my result is already out there. I don’t need to hear anything else, it’s already a success for me,” he added.
Four animated films have already been made under the “Kid Krrish” series.
The first film will be premiered on Cartoon Network Oct 2 at 12 pm.
Hrithik feels that cartoons are a great way to instill values and a sense of right and wrong into kids.
“What a wonderful way to help children, through entertainment, realise and discover good versus bad, to instill values in them about life and what is right and wrong,” said Hrithik.
“So then they grow up to be stronger personalities and can learn to live their lives more powerfully, to be givers,” he added. In fact, Hrithik says, cartoons also helped shaped his life.
“There are formative years and cartoons are a very big influence, they were a big influence in my life. There were some cartoons that have gone into shaping me as a human being,” the actor said.
Hrithik is currently busy promoting “Krrish 3”, directed by his father Rakesh Roshan. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and hits theatres Nov 4.
