We had recently reported that dimpled beauty Preity Zinta was issued a non-bailable warrant in connection with a cheque bounce case and the actress having failed to appear in the court for the same. Filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala filed a complaint against her after a cheque of Rs 18.9 lakh issued to him bounced.
The latest we hear is, Ms Zinta has finally issued a statement clarifying her position.
PZ’s official statement reads: “We will take appropriate action against him (Abbas) now that he has escalated the court and involved the media for publicity. I’m not stupid to endanger myself by getting a cheque bounced.”
Zinta is currently in Udaipur shooting for Bhaiyaji Superhit and will address this matter personally once she’s back in Mumbai.
