After making 400 crores with Chennai Express, SRK decides to make meaningful cinema

New reports have come to light that Shahrukh Khan is having a bit of a crisis. Currently in Dubai to shoot for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year, it is reported that ever since reports of Chennai Express crossing box office collections of Rs. 400 crore reached him, SRK has been in a philosophical mood. Having zoomed past Ek Tha Tiger and 3 Idiots, Shahrukh Khan is reportedly wondering what the point of it all is.

Says Ayaaz Khan, a struggling Bollywood actor whose friend’s building’s watchman is the brother of SRK’s maid, “I have heard from a reliable source that SRK got up early on Sunday morning, walked into the garden that is in his house and began to cry silent tears. Then he got up, stretched his arms out wide like he was trying to embrace pre-liposuction Adnan Sami and then burst into tears. When Gauri Khan came down and asked him what the matter was, Shahrukh apparently said that he had a dream in which Yash Chopra told him ki bas kar yaar, ab thode achche films bana.”

Before he had time to come to grips with this revelation, Shahrukh had to fly to Dubai to shoot for Happy New Year. The industry is buzzing with rumors of a potential showdown between Farah Khan and SRK, because let’s face it, Farah Khan film’s are more about crowd pleasing and crore generation than perception changing. The superstar will be seen in Happy New Year alongside Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani and Bipasha Basu. Aishwarya Rai’s husband, Abhishek Bachchan will also be seen in the film, thankfully not as the lead.

Hailed by some as the greatest actor and some as just a shrewd businessman, it is widely held that it is high time he started playing his age. In Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Yash Chopra’s last movie, Shahrukh romanced both Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, giving hope to millions of older men looking to move into the sugar daddy phase of their lives. Now though, he is worried as much about leaving an acting legacy as about giving his kids a great financial security.

When this website contacted Salman Khan about this development, we didn’t get any response, but a cryptic ‘LOL’ was posted on Sallu’s twitter feed some time later.

Hei listen there Bollywood I am a regular visitor to your website. Once every day I click to your website to see news from Bollywood. But it seems that you, who ever the author is, is basically a person who is there to mock at SRK and jealous of his stardom. Look if you can’t digest his work then you must not write news from Bollywood. It seems that you think you can support from his critics and other star followers by doing it. Just for your website sake I think you must stop writing these kind of untruthful lies and stories. Liar Liar Pants on Fire

Never thought that Indians could have made such a low level and irritating movie such a hit. Folks, we really need to be bombed by Pakistan. Perhaps we could change the name of our country to East Pakistan….haha
