The 4th edition of The Boss Dialogues featured the multi talented film director, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, actor and television host Karan Johar. The director chatted with Indu Mirani about cinema and life at the country’s longest tapas bar, Escobar.
Karan Johar has produced and directed various blockbusters for Dharma Productions and is probably the only A-list director who shows his films to critics and then takes their feedback seriously. Karan is a warm, positive, people’s person who, who lends a shoulder to almost every actor as an agony aunt.
At this edition of Boss Dialogues, Karan spoke about being his various roles: playing the villain in Anurag Kashyap’s film, why he decided to be part of reality shows, playing agony uncle of Bollywood, the kind of cinema he is producing, the next film he is working on, his personal growth and career trajectory, etc.
A wonderful addition to the format was also stand-up comedian and writer of Loins of Punjab, Anuvab Pal, who opened the show with his unique brand of wit.
