Akshay Kumar’s latest release Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara did not get the response that not only him but many were expecting. Most of the critics completely slammed the movie and gave very low ratings.
Actor Akshay Kumar is very pissed with this and has blasted the critics saying that the critics should write reviews keeping viewers in mind. According to most of the film critics, the movie OUATIMD is not even a one time watch. Talking about it, Akshay Kumar has told a leading daily in an interview, ““It will be great if the reviewers write the reviews along with the audience, sit down with them, talk to them and seek their feedback. Ask the audience, they will never go wrong,”
“There are some people jinhe film ki ABC nahi maloom. Aisa nahi hona chahiye. Audience has become very smart.” (There are some people who don’t know the basics of filmmaking. This should not happen. Audience has become very smart), he added.
Akshay Kumar also said that he respects the critics who write their movie reviews with the audience’s perception. OUATIMD did not flop but managed to do average business when compared to the expectations. It was also hit the rage of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express which is doing exceptionally well at the box office and has already crossed over Rs 190 crores.
