Salman Khan is all set to make a comeback as the host of television’s most controversial show ‘Bigg Boss’, mid September, this year. Reports state that the participants of the show will not be revealed until 15 Sept, that’s when the show goes on air.
However, speculations are doing the rounds that TV actors Gurdeep Kohli, Pratyusha Banerjee and Kushal Tandon are likely to enter the show. Apart from that, comedian Kapil Sharma would make a guest appearance.
Kapil Sharma told, “I will do a one-day shooting for the episode, but I won’t stay in house for long. I can’t live in my own house for long, so entering the ‘Big Boss’ house is definitely not happening.”
The celebrity reality show has booked the primetime slot from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m, with two popular shows – “Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki” and “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha – Season 2” going off air, thus making way for Bigg Boss 7.
“Both the shows have fared well and were popular amongst the audiences. However, we will be having a logical conclusion to both the shows paving way for fresh content,” Prashant Bhatt, Colors, Weekday Programming Head, said in a statement.
The promos of Bigg Boss 7 is already up and is creating quite a buzz among the audience, with Salman Khan in a double role as an angel and devil, hence giving meaning to this season’s theme ‘Heaven and Hell’.
‘Wow of Heaven and Aao of hell’ is how Salman describes “Bigg Boss 7”.
“Bigg Boss” is the Indian version of the internationally popular “Big Brother” franchise. It features some handpicked celebrities who live together inside a secluded house, with limited means, and under 24X7 camera surveillance.
