As reported yesterday, Salman Khan’s film, Kick is all set to hit theaters next year’s Eid. But guess what? The making of the film isn’t going smooth. In fact it’s been more than a fortnight now, and the protagonist of the film, Salman Khan hasn’t shot a single scene yet.
Initially, Salman Khan was denied visa to UK and finally when he got it, he was given a tourist visa. The bad news is that, on a tourist visa, the superstar can only roam around UK and not shoot for the film, as he doesn’t have a work permit.
If reports are to be gone by, the makers of the film are planning to shoot the film elsewhere. The shooting of Kick went on floor last month in Glasgow, UK. Randeep Hooda, who is also a part of the film, canned a few action sequences.
Salman’s dad Salim Khan is quoted as saying by a leading daily, “My son has a tourist visa but he has not got the work permit yet. The shoot may have to be shifted elsewhere.”
Apparently, the entire unit of Kick has been waiting in Glasgow for Salman Khan to arrive. This long wait has not only caused a delay in the film’s making but has also burned a hole in the producer’s pocket. The latest we hear is, Nadiadwala is thinking of bringing the unit back to India and start shooting here.
Apparently, Salman Khan has now applied for work permit in the UK, and reports say he may get one by Friday.
Kick also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and is slated to release on Eid in July 2014.
