Come November, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will make a come back on the sets of Bang bang, which also stars Katrina Kaif. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film’s third schedule was supposed to go on the floors from July 10 but the project got delayed due to Hrithik’s brain surgery last month.
The superstar had to undergo a brain surgery after he sustained a head injury while filming an action sequence for Bang Bang. He was rushed to the hospital as the injury got worse and turned into a clot. Post operation, the doctors advised him a few months of rest and relaxation, as a resultt of which the shooting was postponed.
All is now well with Hrithik and he is recovering fast.
Confirms he actor, “I am doubly charged and looking forward to resuming my amazing journey with the team of Bang Bang from mid November. We promise to give our best to making the film one of the finest ever.”
Meanwhile, the release date of Bang Bang has been shifted from July next year to October.
“Given Hrithik’s revised schedule, we are now resuming our shoot in mid-November and have decided to lock the four-day Dusshera weekend of 2014. So we will come all guns blazing on October 2, and the date will coincide with the country’s festive season,” Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios, producers of the film, is quoted as saying.
