5 things we’re dreading about Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara

Gangster films are a favorite theme for our Bollywood filmmakers. Audiences too are pretty fond of such flicks and seem to enjoy them. From Satya to Vaastav to Company, we’ve had some great gangster movies in Bollywood but there have been more duds than hits. The latest movie yet to join this club is Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara, starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan in leading roles and Sonali Bendre in a supporting role. Though we’re really looking forward to this movie, there are some things that we are worried about:

The love triangle:
While the first film had an engaging story, the prequel seems to be more of a love triangle. It’s going to be a mixture of romance and guns and a backseat to giving the audience another memorable thriller.

Goodbye Emraan, hello Imran:
Replacing Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi with Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan only implies a ta ta-bye bye to subtle expressions and a welcome to loudness. Though Imran may still be a downl=played character, Akshay will bring in the masala. Too much perhaps.

Dialogue pe Dialogue:
One common trait in both the films is the never ending dialogue-baazi. However, the sequel ‘s dialogues sound even more ‘filmi-er’, thanks to khiladi bhai, Akshay Kumar.

Music to remember:
songs ouatimd
Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai struck gold at box office, with due credit to Pritam’s awesome music composition. This time around though, he’s been unable to recreate that same magic. We’re hoping the music sounds better in the theater when we’re watching the movie!

The name of the sequel:
This is a bit like counting chicken before they hatch but what will they name the sequel? If it’s Teesra and Chautha then all we have to suggest to the director is to spare the audience and rename this series!
