5 Best Action Sequences of Akshay Kumar

There was a time in Bollywood when the hero was lean yet strong and the henchmen and goons were huge, hefty and looked terrifyingly mean and had stone cold hate in their eyes. Gone are those days and the trends have been reversed. Except for the mean and horrifying looks, the heroes have everything. The hefty body, the six packs and the jazba. But lucky for us, we have YouTube and we can still relish the melodramatic fight sequences which made us all go uhh ahh when we were little kids. Here is list of fight scenes and let me tell you these are the best action sequences of Akshay Kumar.

Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994)

Just like Saif Ali Khan says or rather asks for, Akshay Kumar was ‘toofani’ in this movie. He bashes up Mr. Damodar for ‘beizzat-ing’ dusre log ki behan. Wow! This brotherly side of Akshay Kumar is just so warm.

Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996)

This is what I’m talking about when I say stone cold hate in the eyes of the goon. This guy is not only huge and hefty but one glance at him and your heart erupts dark emotion of hate and disgust. But our Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Akki nails him to the ground with his bare hands.

Keemat (1998)

Not all fight sequences were blood and sweat. This, for example was quite funny and dramatic. Akki baba twirls and swirls Raveen Tandon like a rope. And he manages to bash all those goons with paunches!

Ab Tumhara Hawale Watan Saathiyo (2004)

An epic action scene from an epic movie. There’s just a lot of epic quotient in this particular fight sequence. Danny Denzongpa and Akshay Kumar both are fantastic and emotive personalities. Danny’s eyes show hate and disgust for Akshay where as Akshay’s eyes reflect arrogance. The fight scene is just so real.

Deewane Huye Paagal (2005)

Another not so serious action sequence. Akshay Kumar displays full herogiri in this scene. He plays the cool and composed hero who looks like he doesn’t know anything but when the time comes, he can break some jaws and bones.
