Recently, Bipasha Basu had admitted that contemporaries can never be friends. And this applies to everyone in Bollywood!
We were informed about the delicate relationship between Huma Qureshi and Richa Chadda by our sources and that didn’t really startle us. According to the source, the actresses have a fair bit of insecurity crawling inside themselves as they constantly keep a check on the other, about her films, her offers, her clothes, her boyfriends and her price tag! Woah! Girls, I say.
Both the actresses are pretty close to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Huma made her debut with Gangs Of Wasseypur
, though Richa Chadda kicked off with Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!
, she did pretty good of her histrionics as Nagma in Gangs Of Wasseypur.
They both featured in the recently released Shorts, a compilation of short stories by Anurag Kashyap to give a break to his previous assistants. When Huma was asked about her side of the story to his friendship hazard, she said, ““This is a bad time. I am in the middle of a shot. Please get in touch with my manager.”
On the other hand Richa although busy at an event in Delhi texted saying, “Please text me as I am busy in an event.”
However she promptly called back later to say, “Why would I do this? I wish I had the time to do all that you are saying. I just wished Huma in the morning on her birthday recently.”
She added further, “I was on a 90 day schedule with her for Gangs Of Wasseypur and what do you think will happen? Obviously, we became friends” When it was said that the opposite could also happen, she responded cheek-ishly, “If you want that to happen then it could. Let me assure you I share a good equation with Huma. We are both two girls from outside the industry trying to make it over here. We are right now both in a happy space. There is no rivalry between us.”
