Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha all set to produce another movie

Actress tutned producer, Dia Mirza is all set to produce. This pretty lady along with her long time boyfriend, Sahil Sangha and friend Zayed Khan is on a producing spree under their banner Born Free Entertainment.

Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha are busy casting for the three movies that are being made under their banner, and the pretty lady already seems to have few actresses in her mind. She says she would love to work with the famous Dirty Picture girl, Vidya Balan. In a recent interview, she said, “Vidya is someone who I would love to cast in the film. She is a dear friend with a great temperament. She is an easy person to be with and is a powerhouse performer.” So if all goes well between Vidya and Dia, that’s one movie down and two more to go.

So now for the other two movies, who does Dia have in her mind? She says, “I would love to work with Huma Qureshi and Richa Chadda – they are very talented actors.” Brilliant! That’s work done, nice and quick!

While she was taking about her project she said, “We are in the process of developing three films. We will start filming in October. We have invested a year-and-a-half in scripting. It is everything that we stand by…All three will release mid next year.”

The first movie, Love Breakups Zindagi from her production house was quite a decent rom-com. Going by that if they (Dia, Sahil and Zayed) are going to produce movies from same genre, they have got a fan here! Could universal human stories be rom-coms? Probably. Dia said the common thread linking the three movies was the concept of universal human stories. She further added, “They are all human interest stories. If I had to streamline the genre, I would say each one of them is coming-of-age stories. The milieu of the characters is different. I am excited about the quality of writing. Each writer was given a-year-and-a-half. It has been an exciting and exasperating process,”

So will she act in any of the movie like she did in Love Breakups Zindagi? The answer is no. “I will not take up any role, if the film does not need me”. Hmm.. We are disappointed!
