Salman Khan and his film Mental have an uncanny habit of grabbing the headlines for every other reason. After receiving the news of Salman getting injured during the shoot of an action sequence, now the actor his movie are back in the papers due to a name change.
If reports are to be believed, Salman and his advisors are looking to call the movie Jai Ho, instead of Mental. This is Salman Khan’s one of the most anticipated movies and is a remake of Telugu superhit Stalin. The movie is expected to hit the theaters on January 24th, 2014.
It had been earlier revealed that Salman Khan was not happy with the film title, ‘Mental’ and was searching for an appropriate title.
“Salman is not very keen to continue with a quirky title like Mental as the film is being addressed as presently. Sohail Khan who is directing the film has been looking at various options and the crew has been suggesting different names. Recently, Salman informed Sohail that he is not keen to continue with Mental and wants a different title now,” a source had said.
Adding on to this, the source had clarified that the film was never meant to be called ‘Mental’.
“It was never meant to be called ‘Mental’ and it was always a working title. Someone got the whiff of it and the media has ever since been reporting that. However Salman and Sohail were always clear that the film would be called something else,” the source added.
