Shahrukh Khan will again be seen hosting the fourteenth edition of the prestigious IIFA Awards and this time it will be Shahid Kapoor giving him company.
The 14th International Indian Film Academy awards will be set to take place in Macau and this will be the second time this event will take place in the city. It commences over the first weekend of July and will be held at the 15,000 seated Cotai Arena in the Venetian Mocao Hotel.
This is certainly not the first time Shahrukh and Shahid are co-hosting an awards ceremony as they already donned those roles twice.
Shahid Kapoor said he has already hosted with Shahrukh before and is very proud of the same fact as he feels it’s an honour to share athe same platform with the King Khan.
Shahrukh had hosted the IIFA awards eight years ago with Fardeen Khan and Karan Johar and also performed at the function in 2004 and 2011. This year, the organizers were not ready to take the risk of letting Shahrukh perform after he had undergone a surgery for his injured shoulder.
